Bowen Designs has loaded up a bunch of new images and answered a few questions regarding their Marvel license at StatueMarvels.com. Included in the images are photos of upcoming Iron Man Armors, Kingpin, Ninja Psylocke or Betsy Braddock Psylocke and Hulk. Also, some info they have shared:
“I can appreciate the gravity of the situation. Sadly we are at the mercy of the factories and shipping groups, and our agreement with Marvel.”
“Sometimes we go for long stretches when we see little progress in production.”
“Other times we get a whole slew of items shipped at the same time. Our warehouse is only 17,000 sq.ft. and there isn’t enough space to hold back a bunch of items at the same time.”
“Add to this: the fact that when we’re nearing the end of a ‘phase’, we never bank on Marvel renewing or extending our license. So- it’s incumbent upon us to get as many projects in before the end of the term as possible. (Though we were just granted a 1 year extension on the current contract so that we can space our some of the releases: phase 5.5)”
“Our only hope is that you’ll be able to track down pieces later on that you really want.”
