Armarauders Major Update

Back in March we brought you news of Armarauders, a new toyline/comic by Mecha Workshop. A big draw to this line is that the comic art, designs and concept art are done by none other than DON Figueroa! You may recall his designs from the fan-favorite Transformers War Within.

Today brings a substantial update, brought to you via the Armarauders Facebook page. Several new images have been added, including some concept art, 3D mockups, and notably, prototypes of the pilot figures! The new designs showcased include:

Bellerophon Pilot Cameron Knox – basic figure, 12 points of articulation, 2 inches/5cm tall
P.A.C. – Personal Artillery Component – 2 points of articulation, Anti-Waster Mech Cannons and Jetpack
D.A.R.C. – Dual Assault Rifles Component – Combines to Pilot’s Backpack/Component, Anti-Infantry rifles. D.A.R.C. is stackable on P.A.C. or can plug directly into the pilot’s back

Mecha Workshop has revealed that Action Toys(of the ES Gokin line) has modeled and refined the pilot prototype(Cameron Knox). Meanwhile, Keiichiro Maeno/T-REX(who has worked on items such as the Votoms Scopedogs, and some Macross toys for Yamato Toys) has 3D modeled and refined the mecha(Bellerophon). This line has come pretty far in less than a year.
