Macross Frontier fans rejoice! Just when you thought the only good guy cannon fodder DX toy Bandai was going to release was the DX VF-171, Bandai reveals a new release! Tamashii has revealed their upcoming DX VF-25A Messiah. Shown briefly in Macross F, the VF-25A never got the spotlight in the series nor movie. If anything was getting blown up it was usually the NUNS VF-171’s. Nonetheless, as older collectors, cannon fodder/mass production mecha are a must. At 1st glance the DX VF-25A just looks like a repaint of the DX VF-25G Renewal Version sans sniper rifle(with the regular gunpod instead).
