The Toyark recently shot Wave 2 of Mattel’s 4 inch collector line, DC Comics Multiverse. We however didn’t realize when we picked them up that The Penguin was also out in the wild! Fans from the forums quickly let us know he is, so we went hunting and found him yesterday. We’ve done up a shoot, and are posting him up by himself because this guy really is the star of the wave. Really glad I went back out and found this guy, because he is tops for what Mattel has done with DC Multiverse so far. Proportions are right, sculpt is good, paint is good, accessory is appropriate. Only nitpick is the legs, as with all DCM figures, some ankle articulation is needed for anything other than a straight up stance (without being a balancing magician). This guy with masked 89 Batman is a nice setup. If you see him, it’s a grab! Check out some key shots below, with the rest in slideshow format afterwards!
