Out of absolute left field comes an all new product line from McFarlane Toys. They are entering, and looking to revolutionize, the building block genre with an all new series of building block play sets. They have revealed The Walking Dead Building Block Sets, which combines the idea of LEGO style building blocks with detailed dioramas for their new mini Walking Dead Figures.
Their will be building block sets as well as blind bagged figures. These will be a massive departure from the standard looking building brick aesthetic, as these will look like higher end collectibles when assembled and displayed.

According to an interview over at MTV, the blind bags will indicate whether their is a human character or a Walker inside. Great for troop builders who want a massive horde of Walker. also, most of the sets will cost between $10 – $50, with the Prison Tower set being an exception at $64.99. These will also be LEGO, MEGA Blok and Kre-O compatible!
