Mike Tyson Will Punch The Heads Off Your Action Figures

Here’s something different for the Toyark crew – an 8 inch retro-style (see: Mego) Mike Tyson figure. Why Mike Tyson? Well, this fall Adult Swim will be launching an all new cartoon called “Mike Tyson Mysteries“. It’s kinda like Scooby Doo meets Mike Tyson with a talking Norm McDonald pigeon. So of course this needs an action figure. Bif Bang Pow started the line off with a convention exclusive version at SDCC 2014 that comes with red boxing gloves, where the regular release will not. Fun figure, the show looks crazy and great, and this represents it well. To tell the truth, I didn’t quite know what to do with it as an action figure. Mego style figures don’t do much, they just kinda stand there. So, having Mike punch the heads off major characters seemed fitting. Once the show drops, if you dig it and want to rep it on your desk or shelf, this will do nicely. Check out some shots and the trailer below!
