The Toyark’s Batman Animated Galleries continue today with Mr. Freeze! The chillin villain adds another rogue to the animated lineup for Batman to battle, featuring his look from The New Batman Adventures. He comes with his trusty freeze gun and accessories as seen in the episode “Cold Comfort”, specifically the arachnid legs for his cryo-frozen head. Overall
Mr. Freeze is a solid addition to the series. I like how they are setting the line off as a mix between the two Batman Animated series, picking the best (subjectively) versions of the characters for an immediate bang. Mr. Freeze just standing there is a bit boring, BUT, the robo legs are an awesome addition and make the figure worth it. Another angle I didn’t catch until part of the way through these galleries is that not only are they from a specific series, but, they reference specific episodes. So this Mr. Freeze has accessories as seen in the episode “Cold Comfort”. As do the others. That’s a really great touch and it’s awesome to look it up online and check out a recap or video to refresh yourself. For those reading about or having issues with breakage, I had none, and no breakage scares with this one at all. It is figure to figure tho, so be careful on first bend.
