Toyark Gallery - Robo Force Ultimate Maxx - The Toyark

Over the next few days, we’ll be uploading galleries of the newest releases from Toyfinity Toys. We’re kicking it off with their most ambitious release yet, Maxx Zero Ultimate Edition. The release takes the original colors from the 1980’s Maxx Steele figure and goes one further by adding in more details. This version feature more paint apps than they’ve ever done, including detail paint lines in all of the sculpted areas.

If you’ve been collecting the Toyfinity Robo Force releases, then the last round of Maxx releases were the ones you’ve been waiting for. With the Maxx Zero Basic Edition, you get the pure homage version. Then there’s the Maxx Zero Ultimate Edition, which is how Toyfinity imagines their perfect version of Maxx. It features an insane amount of paint apps that truly show off the details of the mold like none of the prior releases have. It features more colors, a total of 10, than any prior release as well as being detail lined, which is another first for the line.

The figure is also features some of the tightest joints of any of the previous kits. You may have to heat up some of the pegs and holes to swap them out. It’s just the nature of having the extra paint in areas.

If you’re only going to get one of the kits, then this is the one to track down. Only enough were produced to fulfill pre-orders, so if you didn’t get one, you’ll need to track it down on the secondary market. This truly lives up to its name.
