TMNT Minimates Series 2 In-Hand Gallery

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles continue to dominate with licensed products based around their Nickelodeon TV show. We have Turtles in almost every scale and form factor, from simple and cheap to Prime 1 Studios movie statues. Diamond Select Toys released series 1 of their TMNT Minimates line last year adding to that mix. Series 2 is due out this week and continues the awesome show specific nature of the line. In this series we get the 4 Turtles with new facial expressions and accessories, Splinter, Casey Jones, Bradford, Karai & Norman. Overall
Overall another solid wave of TMNT Minimates. The Turtles are necessary even though we got them in wave 1, they are the stars of the show here. They however are painted slightly different, have different expressions and “ninja mode” eyes, come with alternate heads for their “reaction” expressions, and each have a good amount of extra accessories. Mikey and Raph’s pets are a great touch, Ice Cream Kitty and pre-mutation Spike are awesome. Donny gets a bladed bo, Gameboy-like scouter and a Mutagen pod. Pizza in slice and pie format with several of them is a win. Casey gets hockey sticks, bats, beefy gloves, and two heads. All together he looks like a force to be reckoned with. It’s nice to have Karai in normal human form as well. The rest are just as solid, giving us a nice representation on our shelves. Bradford is the chase, he’s only one per case. This is a great extension of the line, rounding out the rosters. Turtles, Splinter, April, Casey. Shredder, Karai, 2 Foot Soldiers, 2 Kraang. They’ve hit all the necessaries, but of course we want more. Hopefully they get to continue long enough to get more supporting characters and some mutants in there.
