It’s been a hard wait for the official US release of Android 16, but he has finally arrived and is ready for battle! Android 16 is the 19th figure in the S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z line and completes Dr. Gero’s creations (Cell, Android 17 and 18). Standing taller than the average figure, he is in scale with his fellow Androids and fits perfectly in the existing line up. We’ve done up a session with him, read on to check out 60 shots courtesy of site sponsor Entertainment Earth!

(Would have liked a birdie accessory :) )
Overall
Android 16 completed the Android squad nicely. He is beefy and has firm joints, holding poses well. The figure has a matte/flat black and a harder shiny green plastic, usually a conflicting pair but they work nicely here. Accessories are just about right. 3 heads with interchangeable mohawk and a 4th battle damaged one. 2 sets of hands. Removable forearms to expose his (literal) arm blasters. Enough to customize as you need it, but not too many where it’s redundant. He looks great standing with Android 17 and 18, a true representation of the show. If you split your shelves into different scenes/themes, you can even use the battle damaged head with Gohan and Cell to recreate the iconic scene where Gohan goes all in.
Another great addition to this line, with more on the way. Looks like they are moving on to the Buu Saga and recent movies next, stay tuned with everything coming out on our S.H. Figuarts DBZ jump off page here! Full gallery below!
