If you’re a fan on Mondo‘s foray into the toy world, then get your wallet ready! They’ve put up pre-orders for their vinyl figure based on Kevin Eastman’s very first sketch of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Dubbed The First Turtle, the figure is available in four flavors. You can get a black and white sketch style version, a full color Mirage Comics red bandana version, an orange bandana Michelangelo version, or the deluxe black and white version, which includes three interchangeable heads. They are due in the fourth quarter of the year.

In 1983, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird were doodling on napkins, playing around with an idea that initially began as a joke. Little did they know what started as a sketch, would turn into the phenomena known as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
