The Toyark’s Wave 2 Batman Animated galleries finish up today with The Creeper! The Creeper is a deep roster character who made his appearance in The New Batman Adventures episode “Beware the Creeper” with an altered origin story from the comics. TV Reporter Jack Ryder was covering the anniversary of the Joker’s fateful drop into the vat at Ace Chemicals when the Joker shows up and pushes him in, along with some of his Toxo Gas. The result is an absolutely crazy, but not 100% evil new character, The Creeper. Overall The Creeper is a solid entry for building out the ranks of your DCAU line up. The fact they’ve gone this deep this early is promising for the line. That being said, I had to go look him up because I didn’t remember him :). Luckily Amazon Prime includes the original Batman episodes so I refreshed myself, and it was a pretty cool fun ep. The figure sticks with the overall Animated look and feel. Large uppers, skinny lowers. The legs here using the outward pivot are a bit weird, they can go 45 degrees out to the side but not fully forward due to the sculpt. So posing can be a bit difficult. But, once you get him there, he’s a great addition to the line up as you can see below. If you’re into the DCC Animated figures, worth a pick up! I’m personally more excited for the other figs set to drop and that Batmobile, hit the BBTS links to check what’s coming.
