Jean-Paul Beaubier aka Northstar chose to be a great many things. Things we should all admire him for. He chose to be a hero. He chose to be a member of Alpha Flight. He chose to be an X-Man. He chose to be a role model. And recently he chose to be a teacher. He could have stayed on an X-Squad, but he knew that helping you was so important, it needed to be his full-time task. We honor him today for all those choices.

Overall
Collectors of Alpha Flight will be happy to add Northstar to their shelf. I was never a reader of Alpha Flight so I really don’t know much about the character. I also see that he has a connection with the X-Men and recently made choices to Teach at the Xavier Institute and is now openly gay. The figure has good articulation, but I would have went with closed fists for better flight action. Overall this version kinda feels like a filler, but if your into Alpha Flight i sure this figure was long over due.
