The Toyark’s DC Icons Wave 2 galleries continue today with #06 Blue Beetle. The Blue Beetle is rocking a more modern look, coming from the pages of Infinite Crisis. He features a full mech suit and mask, beetle backpack and wings, and 2 arm guns. He is one of the sharpest figures from wave 2 so let’s take a closer look after the break courtesy of Big Bad Toy Store!

Overall
Overall this guy was a surprise for me, he came out real sharp and wound up being one of my favs from wave 2. Sculpt is crisp and the mix of plastic and paint balance each other well. The darker navy actually has a metallic sheen to it which pops. Weapons and wings switch in and out easily. All paint lines are clean. His mold is unique but utilizes the same Icons articulation points and methods as the others. Just a solid overall figure, worth a pick up for sure.
