Next up in our look at S.H. Figuarts Star Wars figures is another Prequel Trilogy character – the basic Clone Trooper. This is the first version grunt from Episode II Attack of the Clones. He rocks an all white head with the fin and comes with two standard weapons – a blaster and rifle. Above average articulation and smooth stiff joints makes this piece shine, capped with it’s sharp detailed lines in the sculpt and paint. S.H. Figuarts Star Wars Episode II Clone Trooper
Overall
Beast figure. The Clones are the clones, some folks love, some are eh. As a figure though – it’s awesome. On first glance it’s very similar to the Hasbro Black Series version but when you actually have it in your hands, that’s where the difference lies. It’s dense, feels good. Joints move smooth and keep their position. Extra hands pop on and off easy. Armor has articulation to allow for dynamic poses. The mold is sharp cut, doesn’t feel gummy or have rounded edges where they shouldn’t be. Bottom line, if you are into Clones, the PT or just dig troopers – he’s worth a pick up.
