Ultimate Source has sent out some new images and info for their upcoming Killer Instinct Figures. Check out the update below:
March is finally here! It was recently announced that Season 3 of Killer Instinct will be available on the Xbox One and Windows 10 on March 29th. We are super excited to get our hands on Rash, Tusk, and the rest of the cast and see what they’re capable of! With it finally being March, the question that we get asked most often here is, “Hey Ultimate Source, we love your Killer Instinct figures and can’t wait to purchase them. WHEN will we be able to do that??”
We are happy to announce that the first set of our Wave 1 figures (Jago, Sabrewulf, Hisako, and Fulgore) will be available to purchase in Mid-March – stay tuned for the big announcement!
We wanted to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to purchase their favorite character prior to Season 3’s launch on March 29th so that they can unlock their EXCLUSIVE Color 10 as soon as possible. (Note: Color 10 will not be available to unlock in game prior to Season 3’s launch on the 29th)
Now let’s dive more into the final two figures available for purchase mid-March, Hisako and Fulgore!
Hisako
Hisako, everyone’s favorite Ghost Girl, was introduced to Killer Instinct fans late in Season 2’s roster. Initially, Hisako was not planned to be a Wave 1 figure. It was through the fan’s positive response and popularity in the amount of fanart and cosplay that she quickly moved up in the lineup to be a launch figure. With Hisako being the smallest character in the Killer Instinct lineup, it was important that her design pose captured her size and creepiness. It was through the calibration with Microsoft that the idea of her interchangeable victory “scream” head came to be.Fulgore
The Fulgore Mark 03 is the pinnacle of the Ultratech army and great care was taken to make sure that his figure lives up the history that this iconic character has. Fulgore is unique from the rest of the figures in Wave 1 in that he was molded in a special metallic type paint which helped in giving him his iconic look. Additionally, Fulgore has the most amount of articulation in any of the Wave 1 figures, 10 points in total! We were able to give him this many (including being able to articulate into his Taunt pose) mainly because it doesn’t take from the essence of the character. Finally, Fulgore is one of the biggest figures in the Wave 1 lineup. Measuring at over 7” without his base, this Mark 03 Unit will make a great addition to your collection!Did You Know?
Hisako has two different poses all depending on how she is positioned on her base! Have her facing either towards her candles (right, bottom – the more upright pose) or away from her candles (right, top – the more creepy, lunging pose).
