Mondo officially revealed a new take on their highly popular Iron Giant figure. On Monday April 18th, you’ll be able to order the Iron Giant Shadow Variant! Here are the details from Mondo:
The Iron Giant was one of our favorite animated movies to come out of the 90s and in the spirit of that decade, we imagined what it would be like if there was a more extensive toyline for the film. Often toys would come out in funky variations, like ‘Lava Punch’ this and ‘Ice Shield’ that, and with this in mind we created The Iron Giant Shadow Variant. It’s a “stealth” version of the friendly robot, while still keeping the aesthetic slick and inline with the original design.
The Shadow Variant will be available at 11AM CST on Monday, April 18th at mondotees.com.

$300As with the original version, the Shadow Variant features over 30 points of articulation, a variety of accessories including two interchangeable heads with light-up eyes, a magnetic “S” that can be detached from a Seafood sign, and “War Arm,” all within the stealth color scheme. The figure also includes a Hogarth mini-figure and sound feature with favorite Iron Giant quotes from the film.
