Two new Final Fantasy XII figures have been revealed by Square Enix. Joining the previously released Final Fantasy XII Fran is Gabranth and Balthier Play Arts Kai Figures. Here’s info on the upcoming figures:
Gabranth – October 2016 – 14,800 Yen (about $138 USD)
Gabranth, born Noah fon Ronsenburg, is a character in Final Fantasy XII. A major antagonist, he is a Judge Magister, the highest rank in the Archadian Empire’s military. While he appears to serve the Empire faithfully, a torn and broken man lies behind his lordly facade.
The highlight of this figure is the armor, sculpted with care to look heavy and to represent the dignity and standing presence of a special knight of the Archadian Empire.
In addition, the reliefs engraved on the armor convey his unimaginable power and his nobleness.
Somber colors and dull gloss have been used for the coloring, so as to recreate the texture of the armor and make it look more realistic.
The figure includes additional hands, two swords and a figure stand.
Balthier – September 2016 – 12,800 Yen (about $120 USD)
Balthier, real name Ffamran mied Bunansa, is a playable character in Final Fantasy XII. He is a sky pirate who globetrots Ivalice on his airship, the Strahl, with his partner Fran. During an attempt to steal from the Royal Palace of Rabanastre, Balthier encounters Vaan robbing the palace treasury. When his plan goes awry Balthier finds himself a part of a conflict between political forces that could lead to war.
Standing in a pose that lets you feel his pride as a sky pirate, Balthier has been sculpted and painted minutely to recreate all the details, including the texture of his clothing and his expression.
Thanks to the motion range of the joints you can act out scenes and fighting poses that show the character’s agility and power.
This figure includes a gun, multiple hands and a figure base.
