A new life size Captain America Bronze Statue will debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. After the event, it will make it’s way to New York, where it will find a home in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. The statue is being done by Comicave Studios, who will be offering smaller scaled replicas of the statue in 1/12 scale as well as 1/4 scale. Here’s the info direct from Comicave Studios:
For the superhero’s anniversary, Comicave Studios is proud to work alongside Marvel in debuting a 13-foot-tall (approx. 4 metre) bronze Captain America statue at San Diego Comic-Con (July 20-24). The life-size bronze statue will later head east on a cross-country trip and land in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park for a dedication ceremony on August 10th.

To commemorate this event, we will be making limited edition replicas of the monument in two scales — 1/12 in bronze and 1/4 in pewter.
Cap aficionados can bring home a piece of Marvel’s most iconic comic heritage first from San Diego Comic Con (July 20 – 24). Limited to 750 world-wide, each piece of 1/12 Scale Bronze Replica is hand-crafted and packaged in a classic wooden box, weighing approximately at 8.8 lbs (4 kg) in total. This collector’s edition also comes certified with an Authenticity Card. Each piece is also serialized on a metal plate.
Debuting at SDCC 2016, the Exclusive Event Price runs at USD350 on Preview Night (July 20) and USD400 on event days (July 21 – 24). Retail Price at USD 450.
The 1/4 Scale Pewter Replica will be available for pre-order first at San Diego Comic Con as well. Produced by Comicave Studios and manufactured by Royal Selangor, each statue is made-to-order, and packed in a Premium mahogony wooden box worthy of its sharp elegance. The first 20 pieces ships in 3 months.
Limited to only 100 world-wide, each collector’s piece is serialized on a metal plate affixed to the statue’s base. The replica is expect to weigh close to 80 lbs (40 kg). SDCC pre-order price is USD 3,500.
