HULK SMASH! SMASH! SMASH! That’s what I think when looking at this Quarter Scale Hulk from NECA. I’ve been eyeing it up since we saw it in prototype form during SDCC 2015. It’s Quarter Scale, but still the Hulk, so he comes in at over 2 feet tall. He’s rocking his look from Avengers: Age of Ultron with real fabric pants and his slightly darker skin tone. Damn, this thing is beast! The sculpt is amazing head to toe. The face specifically, the expression of him roaring is dead on, it immediately triggers adrenaline when glancing over at it. The teeth have a gloss and individual paint detailing, gum and tongue paint there too. It is creepy how real it looks on quick glance. Articulation is great for a 24 inch figure under 250 bucks. Hot Toys was around 16 inches and near 300. It has some limitations, and since he’s so big it takes some playing around with the legs/feet to get him standing. But once done, he’s awesome. Most of us will pose him out in a RAWR stance and let him be so that wasn’t a biggie for me. Bottom line – big ass awesome hulk. Entertainment Earth has him pretty cheap and free shipping too, which is a great deal if you’re on the fence. Check him out below for yourself!
