In the video game Titanfall 2, you play as Jack Cooper, a pilot bonded with BT-7274, a massive mech known as a Titan. Throughout the game, you face off against IMC pilots and their Titan’s. Among the IMC you will face are the Mercenary Blisk and the bounty Hunter Jester. Each of these characters has made their way to McFarlane’s Color Tops Collection as 7″ scale figures.
McFarlane Toys has sent along Jack Cooper, Blisk and Jester for us to check out. I’m going to focus my gallery and review on the newest release; Jester. Read on to see over 35 photos of the Titanfall 2 Jester Figure.

Overall
Packaged as part of the Blue Wave of the Color Tops Collection. The packaging is a collector friendly window box. The figure sits on a plastic tray and can be put back in for easy storage or in-box display. Jester includes a G2A2 Assault Rifle, SA3 Sidearm Pistol, flight effects pieces and a figure stand.
Of the three main Titanfall 2 figure released, Jester will be of the most interest to action figure fans. Unlike both Blisk and Jack Cooper, the Jester figure has a good range of motion in both his arms and legs. Cooper and Blisk have mainly arbitrary articulation cuts that look unnatural and don’t actually allow for any real poseability. Jester feels much closer to what fans would want in a fully featured figure. The leg articulation came as a great surprise, as the figure had great movement in the hips, knees and some articulation in the ankles. The figure, however, is sculpted with a pre-determined pose, with articulation cut in around that. If the figure offered some swivel or a ball joint in the torso, the figure would have a far greater and more natural looking range of motion. As-is, the Jester figure has a pretty decent amount of articulation and posing options, but all geared toward him leaning to one side, holding his rifle in two hands. The pose itself is a solid action pose that works in both flight or standing displays.
Jester features a great overall sculpt, with top notch texture work in the costume and armored/robotic areas. The paint work is also handled very well, with clean paint lines and a dark paint wash to enhance the sculpt. There are some nice small printed areas, such as the design work on the side of the head and different logos on the grenades and armor. The figure has a nice balance to it, and I was surprised how easily it stood without the need for a stand, especially considering how thin the legs and feet are. The flight stand attaches to the jetpack on Jesters back, with included flame effects pieces that can attach there as well.
Of all the Color Tops figures I’ve handled so far, Jester is one of the best. A solid amount of articulation and a great sculpt make this a worthwhile purchase for fans of Titanfall 2, and he’s a far better overall “action figure” than the previous two Titanfall releases.
