Next up in the S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z line are two unexpected pieces – Dragonball Xenoverse characters Trunks and Time Patroller! Today’s feature is Trunks, sporting his look from the game. Pulled out of time again and now a bit older, he’s tasked with stopping the corruption of key events in the Dragonball universe. The figure perfectly captures his in-game appearance with long coat, signature sword and purple hair. Oh, and he has a Super Saiyan head too! Overall
Well constructed. Joints and articulation are on point. Even with the bulky coat his has a wide range of movement. Sword functionality is similar to his earlier releases, hilt that goes in slot or full sword. Neither of these were high on my list of wants, but it’s nice to get a bit of modern flare in the mix, so the line isn’t just a retro celebration. This is enough for a while though, gimmie that Nappa and Vegeta please. :)
