The Dream Concept Studio Kickstarter for Zombie Lab 1/18th scale figures is in it’s last day now, and it has already reached it’s funding goal! We took a look at them in person at last weekend’s NJCC and believe me they are truly epic. Using the same body construction system as the well revered Boss Fight Studio figures, H.A.C.K.S., they will compliment any 1/18th, 4 inch, 3.75 inch collection.
If you decide to jump in on the Kickstarter today, you’ll have access to several exclusive figures only available through the Kickstarter. Four Survivor characters in bloody “After Battle” variants, and the first Zombie, Specimen 459 in alt colors and one version of him cut in half.
Lastly we’d like to clarify one more point. There is an all-in package. This is a flat fee for all the figures in the Kickstarter, including any that get unlocked before it ends. Right now, that includes 29 figures and 10 extra head sculpts. The cost is $550 USD, which brings the per-figure cost to about 19 dollars (ignoring the heads). We don’t know the exact retail price, but similar Boss Fight Studio figures are 25-30 USD. So it’s a good deal at the moment, and can only get better. Next figure unlocks at $170,000 USD, and they are currently at $164,000 USD. If you have the coin, we suggest you consider that as you can always re-sell at retail price (for a profit) the ones you don’t want.
