Power Rangers are usually handled by our brothers in arms over at Tokunation.com – but today we wanted to take a quick look at some of the SDCC 2018 Power Rangers exclusives. Tamashii Nations and Bluefin Brands released 3 major ones – S.H. Figuarts versions of the Red Ranger and Green Ranger, but this time with alternate unmasked heads featuring face scan likenesses of the actors. They also re-released their Soul of Chogokin Megazord in a black, green and gold color scheme. All 3 are superbly done, especially the Megazord. It’s heavy die cast, high gloss paint and chrome, it feels expensive in your hand, which is good because it is a pretty penny. I was never into Power Rangers when it first aired, so I have no strong connection to the actor likenesses. They seem solid for what they are though. Even though they’ve been out with the helmets before, that’s how these guys will stay on my shelves since they are my first PR figures in the rotation :).
