Star Ace Toys is launching a brand new line of statues. Their Deform Real statue line will feature realistic, but stylized characters with oversized head sculpts. Their first releases will be two statues based on Kong: Skull Island. Fans will soon be able to purchase their Kong vs Skull Crawler Statues, which will be available separately or together in a set. Star Ace is proud to introduce a new series of collectibles – the Deform Real line. Standing 15-25 cm tall, these soft vinyl statues feature accurately sculpted, oversized heads on realistic bodies in dynamic poses.
“All hail the King.”The first figures in the Deform Real line are from the Warner Bros. film Kong: Skull Island. In the 2017 film “Kong: Skull Island,” a group of explorers visit an uncharted island in the Pacific and battle terrifying monsters including the 100-foot-tall guardian of the island – Kong.
Star Ace is releasing three pieces in the Kong: Skull Island line, the first is a two character Deform Real soft vinyl diorama which stands 22.5 cm tall and features the mighty king of Skull Island battling a Skull Crawler. Kong roars his defiance as he holds up the Skull Crawler by its jaw as the creature wraps its tail around Kong’s legs. The meticulous paint job, sculpted fur and authentic likeness recreate the creatures in extreme detail.
Kong is also available by himself. Standing 15 cm (6 in) tall, this soft vinyl statue features the mighty king of Skull Island in a fighting pose.
The Skull Crawler by itself is about 17 cm (6.5 in) tall and is in an attacking pose balanced on its tail.
Each figure or diorama comes on a logo base.
