Eaglemoss – New Star Trek Shipyards and International Shipping!

By Tony_Bacala on November 20, 2018 at 7:47 am under Star Trek Toy News

Eaglemoss sent through word that they will be expanding their shipping options to both Canada and Mexico just in time for the Holidays!  On top of this, we are sharing out info on their press release from earlier in the month about the next waves of their Starships – the “Star Trek Shipyards” edition.   Check out all the details below!

Eaglemoss Extends Shipping to Canada and Mexico

[November 19, 2018  – New York, NY] – Just in time for the holiday shopping season, fans and collectors living both north and south of the U.S. border can now have their favorite (or favourite) collectibles shipped directly to them – safely, securely and with the same satisfaction guarantee offered to their American counterparts. Eaglemoss, designers, manufacturers and publishers of high-quality collectibles from across the many worlds of pop culture, now offers direct shipment to Canada and Mexico for orders placed through the online Eaglemoss Shop.

What this means is that a Star Trek fan in Saskatoon can get his hands on the U.S.S. Kobayashi Maru Special Edition or the XL Editions of the U.S.S. Reliant and U.S.S. Enterprise-C without having to have his best friend in Fresno order them for him. A Wonder Woman fan in Oaxaca can lasso all five figures in the Mythologies mini collection. A sci-fi creature collector in Calgary can expect the most recent version of the Predator to show up at her door in just a matter of days. And a fan of the Man of Steel in Mexico City now has a better chance of obtaining a limited edition Mega Superman statue before they’re all sold out.

All products featured in the Eaglemoss Shop are now eligible for shipment throughout North America – including figures, vehicles and commemorative items from the worlds of Star Trek, DC Entertainment, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, AMC’s The Walking Dead, Marvel Comics and more – as well as the new Premier Edition visual reference guides devoted to Star Trek and the Batmobile.

Shoppers are encouraged to visit the site frequently, as special offers on select items and bundles will be made available throughout the holiday shopping season. In all cases, shoppers aren’t charged a cent until their orders leave Eaglemoss’ North American warehouses. Minimum orders in each country also qualify for free shipping.

SECOND VOLUME IN COMPREHENSIVE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF STAR TREK™ SHIPS LIFTS OFF FROM EAGLEMOSS HERO COLLECTOR

New “Star Trek Shipyards” Edition Surveys the Starships of the Far-Flung Future,
Beginning with the Enterprise-D

(New York, NY)  Having already boldly gone where no visual reference guide had gone before, Eaglemoss Hero Collector, designers, manufacturers and publishers of high-quality collectibles from across the many worlds of pop culture, today announced the publication of the second volume in their critically-acclaimed Star Trek Shipyards series, the definitive visual encyclopedia to each and every ship that’s ever appeared in the storied Star Trek universe, either on television or in theaters.

An impressive 240-page hardcover, Star Trek Shipyards: Starfleet Ships 2294–The Future has been Officially Authorized by CBS Studios and expertly researched and written by Ben Robinson, Marcus Riley and Matt McAllister.  This chronological history and visual guide features in-depth profiles of Starfleet ships beginning with the beloved U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation through to the U.S.S. Voyager and Starfleet’s first true warship, the U.S.S. Defiant, as seen in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It also features small transports, fighters, multi-mission explorers and time traveling ships from the distant future.

Each ship is illustrated with CG artwork using original VFX models made for the Star Trek TV shows and films, alongside a technical overview and operational history. Chapters include size charts, showing all the ships to scale. An appendix of class listings is featured at the back of the book.

Like all Eaglemoss Hero Collector books, Star Trek Shipyards: Starfleet Ships 2294–The Future (ISBN: 978-1-85875-530-4) may be purchased from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Indigo, independent booksellers, and select specialty stores including comic shops and gaming stores. It is priced at $29.95 in the US and $39.95 in Canada.

Both this and the recently released first volume in the series, Star Trek Shipyards: Starfleet Ships 2151-2293, are part of Eaglemoss Hero Collector’s “Premier Editions,” exquisitely designed, painstakingly researched visual guides and books that delve deep behind the scenes of some of most beloved icons of comic and sci-fi fandom.
