With their accessory packs, NECA has been giving fans some great display options. We’ve had multiple releases for aliens, a fantastic Friday the 13th Accessory Pack, and now fans can look forward to their A Nightmare On Elm Street Accessory Pack. This set has a clear A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 3: Dream Warriors influence, featuring two very iconic pieces from the fan favorite entry in the series. The new set includes an Elm Street Sign Post, a nightmare styled Elm Street Sign Post, a Freddy Worm, and a Television Freddy (aka Prime Time Freddy). There’s been a lot of excitement and a lot of questions about the set popping up as the release date gets closer. Let’s see if we can answer some of those questions in our newest photo gallery.

Overall
Packaged in a large collector box, the Elm Street Accessory Pack has an eye-catching display that does a nice job of selling the package. The front of he box features artwork for the included accessories, while the back has plenty of photos showcasing how the items can be displayed. The items sit in a plastic tray, making it easy to store any of the pieces you don’t display.
The two main draws of the set are the Freddy Work and the Television Freddy. They are two of the most recognizable alternate Freddy forms from the entire series. NECA knocked it out of the park with the sculpting here. The Freddy Worm stand just under 12″ tall, and includes a broken floor boards display base. While the display base itself isn’t needed, it does add some stability to the Worm. The sculpt work is outstanding here, with the entire thing features detailed burn scars. You can clearly make out the spine of the work, and the face work here is spot on. The paint work on the Worm Freddy is just as good. There are numerous washes used here to add blacks, greens, browns, blood, and more. The face features very clean separations in the yes and mouth, with no noticeable paint bleed or misaligned paint apps. The Worm is mostly static, but does feature a ball jointed neck connection, giving you a bit of movement in the portrait.
The second highly anticipated item here id the Television Freddy. Again, this is an excellent bit of sculpting to bring Prime Time Freddy to life. The TV itself is a nice representation of the model seen in Dream Warriors. It has plenty of little details, such as the Krueger logo on the corner, and the channel dials. It has a great lenticular sticker to mimic TV static. The mechanical arms are articulated, with elbow joints and shoulders that can move in and out, as well as rotate. Freddy’s portrait here is handled with precision. It can be separated from the set, but blends in nicely to the top of the set. For fans wondering, you you can mount the TV Freddy to a wall or dio piece. On the back, there is a hole that you can slide over the head of a nail, screw or thumbtack (what I used). Once mounted, there’s, unfortunately, no victim to display with it. I did try using another NECA figure, but the shoulders couldn’t support the weight of a full figure. I didn’t really think they would as the arms, like they are in the film, are thin and wiry. The paint detailing here is another high point for the set. There’s a great transitional paint from the set to the face of Freddy. The TV set itself has nice, lifelike silver paint that looks almost exactly like the fake metallic shine that the older TV set would have. The arms use a mix of black and silver, with bits of blue, red and orange to give the robotic appendages the look of internal wiring.
The street signs work well. They include small display stands and look exactly as they should. The plastic used here is solid, with no major warping. They are scaled pretty much perfectly to work with the NECA street scene diorama.
I really enjoyed shooting this set. The two alternate forms of Freddy are great display pieces, featuring excellent sculpts and highly detailed paint work. The items work great in diorama displays, especially for fans who like to create their own movie scene dioramas. Check out soem select photos below, and a full gallery after that.
