In the film, once Jason is defeated, Chris Higgins (the final girl from the movie) has a dream where she hallucinates being chased by Jason again. As she tries to escape on a boat, the decomposing corpse of Pamela Voorhees leaps from the water and pulls her into Crystal Lake.
