Two classic NECA Predator Figures get upgraded to new Ultimate style bodies in this new 2-pack. The Bad Blood Predator vs Enforcer Predator Ultimate 7″ Scale Figure 2-Pack features two characters based on the Dark Horse Comics Predator series. One is a blood-thirsty monster, out to kill everyone it comes across, including other Predators. The other is sent to take down the crazed Yautja, leading to a battle where toy collectors can decide the outcome. The figures stand over 8″ tall and come loaded with plenty of accessories, weapons, and interchangeable parts.

The 2-pack comes packaged in a great window box. The window is large enough to see the figures clearly, as well as many of the accessories. Artwork from the Dark Horse Comics series is used throughout. The back of the box features a photo comic showing the battle between the two Predators. The figures and accessories sit in a collector friendly plastic tray. The Bad Blood Predator includes masked and unmasked head sculpts, interchangeable hands, a smart disc, a sword, a spear, two severed human heads, two creature skulls, and an extra Predator dreadlock (wasn’t sure where that went). The Enforcer Predator includes masked and unmasked head sculpts, a biomask accessory, an interchangeable hand, a plasmacaster (shoulder cannon), a smart disc, and a spear.
As someone who missed out on the initial releases of these two, I was really excited to check them out. The sculpts are excellent, with some amazing details on both. The Bad Blood is especially worth close inspection, as he is covered with skulls and pieces of bone that are attached to his armor. The Enforcer is no slouch either, but has a much more traditional Predator look to him (though the mask had him dubbed the Shredator when initially released). The Ultimate body types are always welcome to see on the Predators, and these two definitely benefit from the upgrade. You can pull off far better dynamic poses now, and the range of motion doesn’t sacrifice the balance of the figures. Joints are all pretty much perfect on both figures. They’re tight without being restrictive and have no paint locking issues. The paint work itself is sharp, with clean separations between colors and nice blending in the transitional color areas. Bad Blood lacks the blood splattered paint of the original release, but I think that works in he figures favor here.
The only real issue I had was one that seems to happen with nay Predator I handle. The wires that connect different part of the Enforcer Predators armor both popped off. The one connecting his forearm to the shoulder simply came loose and fell off, while the one connecting his shoulder to the chest snapped at one of the connection points.
What really sells this set is the great accessories that come packed in. Bad Blood is especially impressive, as he comes with numerous weapons and some great trophy heads he can hang on his belt. All of the hands and head sculpts swap out easily, and didn’t require any softening of the plastic to get them to snap in. I was initially worried about Enforcer’s biomask, as it has a large blade coming off the top of the mask, but thankfully that head didn’t require to much force to detach from the neck joint. I can definitely see fans picking up multiples of the set, as there are a couple of great display options for the figures.
The set is highly recommended for Predator fans. The figures are great upgrades to older releases, and they come with a number of fun accessories.
