Batman: Arkham City – Batman Statue by Prime 1 Studio

This week, Batman: Arkham Asylum celebrates its 10th anniversary! The ground-breaking video game, and it sequels, have been some of the most celebrated comic book inspired video games of all time. Unlike many comic book games, Batman: Arkham Asylum didn’t follow any established comic arc, or film. The outstanding visuals, and excellent character designs took influence from a number of DC Comics stories, with Jim Lee’s art and the Killing Joke story arc acting as templates for the look of the characters, and tone of the game. Developer Rocksteady even brought in the iconic voice actors from Batman: The Animated Series such as Kevin Conroy (Batman), Mark Hamill (The Joker), and Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn) to reprise their roles. Add all of that to a fantastic story, appearances from some of Batman’s greatest foes, a number of Batman’s iconic gadgets, and great stealth heavy gameplay, it’s no wonder Batman: Arkham Asylum remains one of the best comic book games ever made. When it’s sequel, Arkham City hit in 2011, it expanded on a number of the great features. The biggest addition being an open world environment, allowing you to explore large portions of Gotham city.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the game, Prime 1 Studio has opened up pre-orders for a Batman 1/5 Scale Statue based on his appearance in the second game, Batman: Arkham City. The statue stands at 21.5″ tall, as Batman stands on a gargoyle base inspired by the architecture from Arkham Asylum. Multiple interchangeable hands are included with the standard release. An Exclusive Version is also available, which adds an additional swap out left hand, and an interchangeable “angry” portrait.

Look for the statue to be released between August 2020, and December 2020. The Standard Version will carry a price tag of $449, while the Exclusive Version is priced at $499. As always, payment plans are available. You can check out photos, details and the pre-order links after the jump.

Prime 1 Studio is proud to present the 1/5 Scale Batman Statue CMDC-02: Batman from Batman: Arkham City developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros Games.

Batman fights alone against villains in the isolated Arkham City – a super-prison that was constructed to house all the inmates from both Arkham Asylum and Blackgate Prison. We recreated Batman’s pose and gray suit with a great attention to the details.

Batman measures approximately 21.5 inches tall and comes with interchangeable right hands.
The Exclusive Version includes an alternate Angry Portrait and an interchangeable left hand holding a Batarang.
This is a must have for all Batman fans.
