Star Wars Black Series Wave 20 & 21 Catch Up Gallery - Obi Wan, Ezra, Chopper and More! - The Toyark

Time for a little catch up with our Star Wars Black Series galleries. We’ve been slowing down of late, as has Hasbro as they prepare for the probable onslaught of Rise of Skywalker merch set to drop later in the year. Today we are taking a look at a couple figures from the last two waves, wave 20 and 21 – Ep 1 Obi Wan Kenobi, Battle Droid, Ep 2 Padme, Rebels Ezra and Chopper, and Solo Dryden Vos.

I’ve been looking forward to Ezra and Chopper since they announced them, I’ve enjoyed the Black Series take on the Rebels crew and am glad to get almost the whole team in place. Only one missing is Zeb, which is a big piece. Hopefully they can find justification for him and get it done down the line. Until then for me he’s just off in another room taking care of business. The rest are well done for what they are, and really depends which era you are into. Padme’s likness is spot on, as is Ep 1 Obi Wan. The Photo Real tech is really coming along. Obi Wan makes a re-issue of Qui Gon with an upgraded head necessary, and I’d gladly take it. The battle droid – well constructed, can do the transport mode well, and can hold a stance even with the smaller frame. Vos – well executed, especially with the face scars, but I am just not hype on the character.

Bottom line – All great roster fillers for different eras of Star Wars. Pick your poison, fill your ranks, and prepare for TROS on Force Friday!
