Hiya Injustice ThinkGeek Exclusive Assortment – Toyark Photo Shoot

We have a photo shoot of three variant Hiya Toys Injustice 2 Figures. A previously ThinkGeek Exclusive assortment, the three figures are currently not listed on GameStop’s website. As you may recall, GameStop closed down the ThinkGeek website, and integrated their products into the new GameStop.com. Hiya Toys had sent these over before that announcement, and we’ll update when they do pop up again.

For now, enjoy our photo shoot of variant versions of Batman, Superman, and Harley Quinn. Each figure is painted in a specialized color scheme. When released, these figures will sell for about $19.99 each. After the jump, you can see my quick thoughts and the photos.

Pros

• Solid sculpts

• Mostly easy to swap out parts
• Great articulation
• Harley Quinn works especially well in these colors

Overall
For the most part, these are the same releases as the initial two assortments of Injustice 3.75″ Scale Figures from Hiya. The window box packaging has no changes, outside of a ThinkGeek Exclusive tab added over the windows. Each figure sits in a clamshell plastic tray. Harley Quinn includes swap out hands, two pistols, a baseball bat, a mallet, and a knife. Superman includes two head sculpts and an extra set of hands. Batman includes a grapple gun, three Batarangs, and some interchangeable hands. All three include figure stands.

Outside of the new paint apps, there’s no changes to these figures. The overall sculpts are solid for the small scale, and their articulation is quite good. Plastic, as has been the case, is a little on the softer side. But they still are solid enough to hold their weight while posing, and they have no trouble holding their weapons. Swapping out heads and hands is mostly trouble free. Harley’s wrists are very thin, so extra caution should be taken when you change those out. The paint here seems a little bit more messy than it should. Paint seems overall thicker on Batman and Superman, with the amount of paint seeming inconsistent throughout the figures. From a distance, they’re fine, but when inspecting up close, the issues are noticeable. The Harley fairs much better on her costume, but her face paint could be sharper. The alternate colors do work quite nicely on Harley, though.

In the end, these are decent additions to the line. But I do feel the initial releases of each are stronger overall figures. Check out a selection of images below, and the full gallery after that.
