During San Diego Comic-Con 2019, a second series of Horror-Themed Madballs were revealed by NECA and Kidrobot. Now, it looks like there’s going to be a even more, but shrunken down a bit. Digital sculptor Brian Oskins (@plastic_creature_lab) worked with Kidrobot and Big Shot Toy Works on a new assortment of horror-themed Madballs Keychains. These smaller releases will be cast in PVC as opposed to foam. The characters, based on artwork by Madballs designer James Groman, includes even more fan favorite characters. The new images feature:
- Army of Darkness – Evil Ash
- Gremlins 2 – “Rambo” Gizmo
- Gremlins – Stripe
- Beetlejuice
- IT 1990 – Pennywise
- Misits – The Fiend
- The Bride of Chucky – Chucky
- The Bride of Chucky – Tiffany
- Kidrobot – Mascot
- Kidrobot – Mascot Black and White Variant
There’s no word if full size foam Madballs will be produced from these designs. Pricing and release dates have not been shared. The initial wave of Madballs keychains were packed in blind boxes, so that may be the case here. Check out the images after the jump.
