Diamond Select Toys Avatar The Last Airbender line of Select figures continues this month with upgraded versions! These come packed in traditional gigantic clamshell packaging DST is known for with big key art on the side. The previous versions were Walgreen’s exclusives and had a reduced package size and limited accessories.

Aang, Katara and Zuko all come with stands and additional effect pieces. Base sculpts are the same, with some tweaks. Each have a hole in the mid back to allow for the stand peg to be used. Aang has an altered head with a happy expression now. They each have new hands to work their new effect pieces as well. Articulation seems to be the same between versions. The effects are well done. The stands, not great – required a screwdriver to loosen and tighten each pose attempt and then lock into place. It’s either floppy, or about to break with any movement attempt. Best addition was Momo who comes with Aang and is a faithful rep of the show.
