Today, pre-orders will open for the new Jurassic World – Final Battle Tyrannosaurus Rex Statue from Chronicle Collectibles. The 1/24 scale statue will stand at 10″ tall and about 25″ head-to-tail, with a themed base. Chronicle used assets directly from ILM to craft the statue, which is cast in polyresin. The T. Rex Statue is a companion piece to their previously released Indominus Rex Statue. In Jurassic World, the T. Rex is released from her enclosure to fight the hybrid Indominus Rex. After a back and forth fight, the hybrid is set to go in for the kill. But, before the Indominus Rex can land its fatal strike, the Velociraptor Blue attacks, fighting alongside the T. Rex to even the odds.
