Toy Fair 2020 – Jaws Chief Martin Brody and Quint Figures by NECA

One of NECA‘s biggest surprises from Toy Fair 2020 was the unveiling of two figures from Jaws. The classic film about a great white shark terrorizing the small Summer town of Amity Island helped launch Steven Spielberg’s career. For a time, the film was the highest grossing movie of all-time, until a little sci-fi film and took the crown. The new figures from NECA feature both Martin Brody, Amity Island’s Police Chief, as well as Sam Quint, captain of the Orca. The figures will eventually be accompanied by a great white shark, which will release later in the year. Quint and Brody are due for release in September. Check out photos after the jump.

Jaws – 8” Clothed Action Figure – Sam Quint

Jaws is considered one of the greatest achievements in film, paving the way for what would become the Summer blockbuster.

For the first time in the movie’s 45 year history, NECA is happy to announce a brand new 8″ Clothed figure featuring the licensed likeness of Robert Shaw as Sam Quint from the 1975 classic. Standing at 8″ tall, the seasoned shark hunter is equipped with screen accurate accessories and tailored clothing.

Collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year.
