Good Smile Company Pop Up Parade – Traveler from Journey (Video Game)

The critically acclaimed video game Journey was originally released for the PlayStation 3 back in 2012 (then eventually for Windows PC and PlayStation 4). In the game, you play as an unnamed Traveler starting in a vast desert. The character is drawn towards a large mountain with a glowing crevice off in the distance. As you make your way towards the mountain you will find other players on their own Journey, though you cannot speak to them or know their name (until the credits roll). Players can help each other solve puzzles, or simply travel together. It’s a quiet, personal, and surprisingly emotional gaming experience.

Good Smile Company has announced a new Traveler statue from Journey, as part of their Pop Up Parade line of figures. Pop Up Parade is their smaller scale line of collectibles, featuring characters from video games and anime. The Traveler stand just under 7″ tall on a themed base.
