Fext Hobby have been putting out modular diorama systems for a bit, utilizing brick based construction and printed graphics. We’ve taken a look at a couple before, most being larger sets that work as hangars. Today we are looking at a smaller one, the Fext System x Laumanman Street Diorama Sets A and B. These feature a two tier floor with a sidewalk and street style print, a 4 panel wall, and a clear plastic piece with printed guard rail on top. They can also combine with other subway themed sets and sit on top, so you can have the underground and street level in one setup.

Overall Thoughts:
Solid pieces. Functionally work, snap tight. Little bowing once all together, but not anything that makes it unusable. Print is sharp, colorful on all pieces. It’s not a sticker, but applied directly to plastic. Hand rail piece is well done, gives you something different without requiring a crazy new mold. I personally dug the standard concrete wall, works in more situations than the art based one. Only downside is that the sets run small for 1:12, walls are right near head level on the smaller 1:12 figures like SHF or Mafex. Legends etc would be super tight for a single story setup, if going for literal realism that is. Multi floor hangars with generic prints that hide the height of each level work much better in the FEXT system.
