Hot Toys To Re-Release Batman and The Bat-Pod from The Dark Knight Rises

The Batman 1/6 Scale Figure, and the Bat-Pod 1/6 Scale Vehicle from The Dark Knight Rises will be getting a re-release from Hot Toys. Originally announced back in 2012, the figure and vehicle are based on Christopher Nolan’s third and final film in The Dark Knight Trilogy. In the film, Batman is forced out of retirement to face Bane, a powerful terrorist leader looking to destroy Gotham. Batman must rely on help from allies new and old as he faces Gotham’s greatest threat.

The Batman figure will feature some upgrades and fine tuning compared to the initial releases. The figure comes with a new body under the suit, an upgraded suit, and new masked and unmasked portraits. Batman will include a masked portrait with movable yes, a masked portrait with light up LED eyes, multiple swap out lower jaws for the masked portraits, multiple interchangeable hands, sticky bomb gun, grapnel gun, batarangs, mini mines, and a diorama base. Batman is set for release between the Second and Third Quarters of 2022.

The Bat-Pod looks to have some updates as well. The vehicle has a new paint scheme, and looks to have some other tweaks throughout. The Batpod measures about 23″ front to back, and includes rubber tires that can rotate, and light up headlights. It’s due for release between the Second and Third Quarters of 2022.
