Star Wars – Hasbro Fan First Friday – January 29th, 2021 – Black Series and The Vintage Collection Reveals

Today, Hasbro held the first Fan First Friday live stream of 2021. Today they showcased some upcoming Star Wars items. These include the newly announced Lucalsfilm 50th anniversary assortment, and some new The Vintage collection figures. Check out the overview of the new items below. Hasbro Housekeeping Issues

• Looking to address pre-order issues. May push pre-orders to a time after reveal, other options being explored.
• Specialty waves being looked at. Will attempt to make sure that they are figures that aren’t ones that are currently in stores. Moving those 2 yearly waves to all new SKU’s, so retailers can better manage them.

Star Wars Black Series Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Kenner Tribute 6″ Black Series

• New products throughout year celebrating Lucasfilm’s Star Wars items.
• First Kenner Homage waves went up for pre-order last night. Includes Ben Kenobi, Greedo, and a Jawa. Using classic style packaging to pay tribute to original releases.
• All Lucasfilm 50 Years figures will have a timeline on back of packaging, which shows the eras that Hasbro will be celebrating.

Star Wars Vintage Collection 3.75″ Scale Lucasfilm 50th Figures – *Walmart Exclusive Spring 2021*

• More figures from the original 96 line, based on the original 96 figures released by Kenner.
• AT-ST Drive Figure – First time released on an original card back based on original Kenner card design. Updated with photo real deco.
• Paploo (Ewok) – Newly sculpted hood, new dagger.
• Princess Leia (Endor) – New head sculpt, new helmet sculpt, updated soft goods poncho.
• Pre-orders at a later date.

Star Wars Black Series 6″ Scale Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Prequel Trilogy – Best Buy Exclusives

• Battle Droid – Same release as 2019 figure, now on a Phantom Menace card back.
• Mace Windi – Same release as 2019 figure, now on a Phantom Menace card back.
• Qui-Gin Jin – Updated head sculpt for photo real look. Phantom Menace card back.
• Jar-Jar Binks – With spear accessory. Phantom Menace card back.
• Pre-Orders start at 1PM today. Spring 2021 release.

Star Wars The Vintage Collection 3.75″ Scale Figures – General Release

• Ahsoka Tano (Clone Wars season 7) – New Sculpt. Two blue-blade lightsabers, rocker ankles.
