Berserk – Guts in Bersrk Armor Rage Edition and Unleash Edition Statues by Prime 1 Studio

Prime 1 Studio is releasing two new Guts statues from Berserk. Both versions of Guts are in the Berserk Armor, with one being called the Rage Edition, and the other being called the Unleash Edition. They share the same diorama base design, and basic pose. The Rage Edition has helmeted portraits, with the sword pointing down in a slashing motion. The Unleash Edition has no helmet, and the sword is pointing up in a defensive posture. Both of those will then be available as Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition releases. The Deluxe Editions include additional swap out pieces.

These 1/4 scale statues will go up for pre-order on Thursday at 3:00 PM Japan Time. Payment plans will be available, and they will be released between May and August of 2022. Read on for over 175 images and full details for both versions.

His cape sweeps behind him in a dramatic arc; his demeanor, grim, as he strides onward to the next threat. Guts’ armor is faithfully recreated with multi-layered paint applications, weathering and washes to bring out every minute texture. On the base, this tortured warrior wades through a demonic hellscape of death. We made certain to imbue his environment with all the horror and carnage we could muster: slain astral demons, severed heads and carrion beasts.

In addition to Guts’ standard portrait, the Deluxe Version Guts comes with three other swappable heads, to give him the flexibility of expression: from sneering confidence to outright malice! And most especially, we have included a rare, one-of-a-kind Guts portrait, drawn by Miura-Sensei, gifted to us, and sculpted by Prime 1 Studio artists with the utmost reverence and care. This unique, exclusive Miura-Sensei swappable head can be yours with the purchase of the Deluxe Version!

On the base, this tortured warrior wades through a demonic hellscape of death. We made certain to drench this environment with all the horror, carnage and blood we could muster!

The Deluxe version Guts comes with three (3) swappable helmets. Swap out Guts’ helmet from one with glow-red eyes where you can see his rage boiling over to one when he is in control of himself where you can see his real eyes through the helm’s eye sockets. Or a swap out Guts with the original berserker armor helmet before it changed shape like the Beast of Darkness! And when he is no longer in control from his insane killing sprees, putting Astral Projection Schierke on his shoulder to calm his bloodlust and bring him back down to Earth.
