Mortal Kombat – Kung Lao Figure by Storm Collectibles

Storm Collectibles has opened up pre-orders for their Mortal Kombat – Kung Lao Action Figure. The highly anticipated figure is based on his appearance in Mortal Kombat II. Kung Lao is a former Shaolin Monk, and the last descendant of the legendary Earthrealm warrior Kung Lao, who was defeated by Goro in Mortal Kombat 500 years earlier. Knowing the danger that another Mortal Kombat victory for Outworld poses, he joins his friend Liu Kang in a new Mortal Kombat tournament, hoping to prevent Earthrealm’s destruction.

The figure includes two interchangeable portraits, multiple swap out hands, a removable hat, a hat with a slash effect, a blood effect piece, and the Rabbit from his Friendship. Mortal Kombat – Kung Lao Action Figure

Kung Lao’s ancestor the Great Kung Lao was defeated by Goro 500 years ago in the pivotal match that saw Shang Tsung attain control of the Mortal Kombat tournament. To him this contest is about more than Eathrealm’s freedom. His life’s goal has been to slay Goro and win the tournament, thus restoring his family’s honour. After being defeated by Liu Kang in a qualifying bout, he disguised himself as one of Shang Tsung’s guards to gain admittance. Kung Lao believes he is ready for the challenge. The time to avenge his ancestor is at hand.
