Batman Ninja – Batman 2.0 and Samurai Horse 1/6 Scale Figures by Star Ace Toys

Star Ace Toys has announced some new releases from Batman Ninja, an animated film released in 2018. The movie saw Batman, and some of his allies and enemies, sent back in time to feudal Japan courtesy of Gorilla Grodd’s time displacement equipment. Batman teams up with  Catwoman and the displaced members of the Bat-family to take on The Joker and find a way home to modern day Gotham City.

They have announced an updated version of the Batman Ninja 1/6 Scale Figure from 2019. The Batman 2.0 Samurai Figure stands a little under 12″ tall. It includes a new head sculpt, updated armor, a new cape, sandals, multiple interchangeable hands, throwing knives, two swords with sheaths, and a figure stand. Star Ace has also announced the release of Batman’s Samurai Horse. The horse features rooted hair, armor, and a saddle. The description and images don’t mention if this is articulated, and we’ll update when that info is released. Solicitations have gone out to retailers for these two items, along with a Deluxe Set featuring Batman Ninja and the Samurai Horse.

The Batman Ninja 2.0 Figure is priced at $269.99. The Samurai Horse Figure is priced at $148.99. The Batman Ninja 2.0 and Samurai Horse Deluxe Set is priced at $369.99. These are all due for release in October. Pre-orders are live from Sideshow Collectibles, and other retailers should open up pre-orders soon. In the animated DC film Batman Ninja, Batman, along with several of his allies and adversaries, are thrust back in time to medieval Japan. The Dark Knight takes on the weapons and methods of the ninja to defeat Joker and his other villains, who are now feudal lords. Donning special Bat-Samurai armor, Batman rides into the final battle against Joker.

This new 1/6 figure from Batman Ninja features Batman in his ceremonial samurai armor complete with a red tabard with the bat-symbol and high sandals. The head sculpt features Batman in mid-battle yell as he rides into battle with his foes.  He’s outfitted with two katana, two batarangs, and two ninja daggers (Kunai).

Batman Ninja 2.0 Samurai Horse 1/6 Scale Action Figure
The “CoolToys” Samurai Horse is the perfect companion for Star Ace’s Batman Ninja Samurai version.

This black warhorse has finely sculpted horsehair detail all over and has rooted hair for the mane and tail. It is outfitted with authentic medieval Japanese saddle, stirrups, and tack in purple, orange, and black.  Bat-medallions are attached to the sides of the face mask and the horse leg armor features spikes to match the forearm armor of Batman Samurai.
