Twisted Metal – Sweet Tooth Needles Kane Statue by Iron Studios

Pre-orders have been opened by Iron Studios for their Twisted Metal – Sweet Tooth Needles Kane 1/10 Scale Statue. The statue is based on one of the mainstays, Sweet Tooth driver Needles Kane, from the Twisted Metal video game series that began life on the original PlayStation. The statue stands over 10.5″ tall on a themed statue base. It’s priced at $129.99 and will be released in the Second Quarter of 2022. Check out photos and details after the jump.

Twisted Metal’s Clown of Destruction gets a statue by Iron Studios!

Launched already in three different generations of the PlayStation platform, one of the oldest and most classic series from Sony Interactive Studios, the Twisted Metal game series was created in 1995 by David Jaffe, and features several custom vehicles in a series of arenas, fighting a battle of destruction where the survivor, and winner, will have their wish fulfilled. In this story, the concept of being aware of what you wish is very significant.

Filled with dark humor, machine guns, mines, projectiles, and explosions, Twisted Metal features Needles Kane, a crazy psychopath inhabitant of an abandoned ghost town, who, seeing the Twisted Metal tournament as a “Circus”, adopts the identity of a scary clown with the name of Sweet Tooth, in order to enter the competition. Driving a modified van, with the characteristics of an ice cream car, Sweet Tooth became the symbol character of the franchise, present in all released games.

A twisted metal door with cracked glass, one of the wheels with a wide tire, a decorative clown head on the roof, and a minigun rotary machine gun, make up the wreckage of the ice cream and destruction van, piled up, forming its base diorama. Dressed in military boots with colorful pants and his unmistakable and threatening clown mask, the stout giant with flaming hair has his big gloved right hand raised as if to grab something while trying in vain to hide a machete in his left fist behind his back. Thus Iron Studios adds another successful franchise of games to its line with the statue of the fearsome “Sweet Tooth Needles Kane – Twisted Metal Art Scale 1/10 – Iron Studios”, already available for Pre-Order.
