Terminator 2 – T-1000 Statues by DarkSide Collectibles Studio

Pre-orders have been opened by Sideshow Collectibles for two upcoming Terminator 2: Judgment Day – T-1000 1/3 Scale Statues coming from DarkSide Collectibles Studio. There is a standard Collector Edition, and a Liquid Metal Edition. The statue is cast in polystone, and stands over 27″ tall on a light up base modeled after the refinery from the end of the movie. The T-1000 includes four swap out hands with different poses.

The Collector Edition is priced at $1,605, while the Liquid Metal Edition is priced at $1,705. It will be released between October and December. See photos and full details after the jump.

Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the sci-fi classic Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sideshow and Darkside Collectibles Studio proudly presents T-1000 1:3 Scale Statue from the 30th Anniversary series.

Following the Sarah Connor statue, the T-1000 (portrayed by Robert Patrick) is the second addition to the T2 30th Anniversary collectibles series. Robert Patrick’s likeness has been expertly reproduced in a stunning 1:3 Scale hand-sculpted statue, featuring Movie-accurate facial expression with detailed wrinkles and life-like skin texture.

Representing the final battling scene between T-800, T-1000, & Sarah Connor in the film. T-1000 statue is hand sculpted to transmit a screen accurate feeling of the exact iconic “No” gesture moment in the film. A secondary screen accurate option of display is given with the left hand featuring the long sharp awl index finger used to stab the shoulder of Sarah Connor.

T-1000 is presented in his screen accurate high detailed dark blue LAPD uniform featuring high-definition textures and stitching lines, the LAPD badge, Austin name tag, and pen on the shirt. The white strip along the seam of the trousers and hand-sculpted boots completes a breathtaking hyper-realistic hand sculpted costume.

A high detailed light-up themed base completes a stunning screen accurate representation of the scene.

T-1000 Liquid Metal 1:3 Scale Statue by DarkSide Collectibles Studio

Following the Sarah Connor statue and the T-1000 portrayed by Robert Patrick, Liquid Metal version is the third addition to the T2 30th Anniversary collectibles series.

T-1000 is Skynet’s elite assassin robot, whose body is composed entirely of a mimetic poly-alloy (liquid metal) that allows it to assume the form of other objects or people of equal mass. Able to liquify quickly, transform innovatively, change its color and texture to simulate clothes and other nonmetallic materials including morphing its body parts into solid metal tools or bladed weapons, T-1000 is the ultimate infiltration assassin machine.

T-1000 mostly disguises itself as a police officer to gain trust, access information, and provide a benign appearance. Darkside Collectibles Studio TM artisans captured and brought to life the exact turning point from liquid metal machine to police deceiver transformation. The Statue features high detail screen accurate Robert Patrick’s likeness wearing the police officer costume as seen in the movie just before color is applied.
