Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back – Bespin Luke Skywalker Figure by Hot Toys

When Luke Skywalker forgoes his Jedi training to head to Bespin, he hopes to save his friends from the Empire. While searching the facility, he is confronted by Darth Vader for the first time. During their Lightsaber battle, Vader’s attacks leave Luke missing his hand. Preparing to leap into the the void below Cloud City, Luke is hit with the terrible truth of who he is. Darth Vader reveals the devastating news that he is Luke’s father. In shock and badly injured, Luke chooses to fall from the platform to escape his dark fate.

Hot Toys has announced a new Luke Skywalker 1/6 Scale Figure, based on his Bespin attire from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. They previously released a Bespin Luke back in 2012. This version features some modern upgrades, but does lack a few of the accessories included with the older version. Luke stands at 11″ tall, with 30 points of articulation. The figure includes movable eyes, swap out hair sculptures, multiple interchangeable hands, a Lightsaber hilt, a Lightsaber with two interchangeable blades, a blaster pistol, and a Carbonite Chamber inspired display stand. There will also be a Deluxe Edition, which adds a Dagobah inspired display base, and a severed Darth Vader helmet with Luke’s face inside.
