Yesterday, Boss Fight Studio posted up a surprise listing for their Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Wave 6.5 Figures. The pre-order window will be short for this assortment. Included are the Female Knight of Asperity and Sigurd the Unconquerable. These 1/18 scale figures are fully compatible with other Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. releases. The Female Knight includes interchangeable heads, a removable helmet, a sword and sheath, a staff with interchangeable blades, and a shield. Sigurd will include interchangeable heads, a sword, a battle axe, two throwing axes, a mace staff, and a shield.

What are the Knights of Asperity and where do they come from? The current theory is that they are wraiths which have taken possession of human bodies in order to have physical form. Initially, the Knights of Asperity possessed the bodies of soldiers of Accord who had died in their disastrous expedition to the Blasted Lands.
In the hope of expanding their army they have travelled north in search of more victims. These Knights seize anyone they encounter for use as new hosts. Ninety percent of these efforts fail as most are not strong enough to contain an Asperity essence. Success rates are higher with those who are already supremely fit and resistant to hardship.
The Knights of Asperity now launch attacks on settlements anticipating a response from the Knights of Accord, knowing that the brave troops who engage them are exactly what they need to expand their own numbers.
Temporal Log
The most recent incursion from the Knights of Asperity took place in the village of Rone. This district lay on the outskirts of the supposedly impassable Endless Marsh, and was therefore considered inaccessible on two sides.
The Knights attacked from the direction of the swamp rather than the well-guarded town gates. Six Knights of Asperity broke through the defences and wreaked havoc for a number of hours before a cavalry squadron of the Knights of Accord arrived to aid the survivors. Three Knights of Accord died in the defence and their corpses were among those taken by the Knights of Asperity when they eventually withdrew, to be resurrected at a time of Asperity’s choosing.

Historical Documentation
Sigurd and the crew of his ship the ‘Blazing Eye’ were not present when the dragon Grandusdrage destroyed the Barbarian homeland of Oyastorm.
Returning from a whaling expedition in the immediate aftermath of the destruction, Sigurd organized evacuation efforts, establishing a small colony of survivors on a previously uninhabited island in the northern sea.
With the colony now managing to eke out an existence, but knowing that this is only a temporary stopgap, Sigurd has turned his attention to finding a new land where all of his people can thrive. As he searches, the crew take on odd jobs for gold to help the colony survive. The ‘Blazing Eye’ and crew are often busy transporting cargo or protecting high value passengers from those who would seek to do them harm.
Temporal Log
Sigurd has somehow come into possession of fragments of an ancient map. This incomplete map appears to show the locations of trading outposts for a long disappeared ocean going empire.
Sigurd believes that if he can find more pieces of this document on his journeys, he can trace this network of outposts back to the original capital city of this empire. It is his hope that this hidden land will become a new home for his kin. The quest for this lost civilization has become an obsession for him and his crew.
