Final Fantasy 7 Remake – Cloud Statue, and Play Arts Kai Roche and Shinra Security Officer Figures

Yesterday, a streaming event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII. During the stream, Square Enix revealed new titles, release dates, and some new merchandise that is now up for pre-order. The biggest reveales were the trailers for Final Fantasy Rebirth, and Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion. Rebirth is the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake, while Reunion is a ground up remake of Crisis Core, which was released for the PlayStation Portable.

Alongside those announcements, two new Play Arts Kai figures, and a new statue from Final Fantasy VII Remake were revealed. Up or pre-order now are the Play Arts Kai Roche Figure, and a Play Arts Kai Shinra Security Officer Figure. These figures are available as stand alone releases, or as deluxe versions with their motorcycles. The figures each stand about 10″ tall, and include interchangeable hands, characters specific weapons, and a display stand. Also up for pre-order is a Static Arts Cloud Strife Statue. The statue depicts Cloud holding his Buster Sword over his shoulder and stands nearly 13″ tall.

The motorcycle and speed-loving, rebellious 3-C SOLDIER operator, Roche from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE joins the PLAY ARTS KAI lineup!

He makes his first appearance in the remake as Cloud’s new rival, with his distinctive hairstyle and belligerent expression, which can be seen in this figure.

The costume is detailed down to the shoulder armor, the wrinkles on the rider jacket, the pouch on his leg, and belt on his waist, while also ensuring mobility.

Included with the figure are hand parts for various expressions, an interchangeable face for 3-C SOLDIER operator, and a sword that can be mounted on his back or held in his hand, allowing for various scenes from the game to be recreated.

The Shinra Security Officer from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, a supporting character who repeatedly gets in the way of Cloud and his friends, is joining the PLAY ARTS KAI lineup!

Each detail; from the rather eerie look enhanced by the Shinra regulation three-scope helmet, to the texture on their jacket, scarf, and armor on their shoulders and knees; represents the finely rendered security officer uniform depicted throughout the series.

The figure comes with a variety of interchangeable hand pieces, including a grenade-carrying hand, a tonfa that can be held in the dedicated hand or mounted against the thigh, a machine gun, a shotgun, a stun baton, and various other weapons, allowing you to recreate various battle scenes from the game.

A Shinra elite security officer from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE joins PLAY ARTS KAI line up with a Motorcycle!

The coloring of the uniform, goggles, helmet, shoulder armor, and shoe belts are all expressed in detail to show the difference in rank from the general security officers.

Various interchangeable hand parts, including the hand holding the grenade, a tonfa that can be held in the dedicated hand or equipped against the thigh, machine gun, shotgun, stun baton, and various weapons are included as accessories, allowing various battle scenes in the game to be reproduced.

The motorcycle that accompanies the set also features a streamlined shape, a body with the SHINRA name engraved on it, a green-based color scheme, and details around the muffler and engine.

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE™ STATIC ARTS – CLOUD STRIFE – $189.99

Joining the STATIC ARTS collection is the main character from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, Cloud Strife!

Cloud’s dignified expression has been captured, and his hair has been sculpted with attention to detail down to the tips. The materia embedded in the Buster Sword has also been faithfully reproduced. The figure strikes a powerful pose, while carrying a Buster Sword in one hand.

The details of the muscular upper arms and the fine wrinkles in his trousers are also a true highlight of the figure, which could only be created with STATIC ARTS.
