A new collectible from the classic Clash of the Titans movie is coming from Star Ace Toys and X-Plus. They have revealed a new Medusa Soft Vinyl Statue as part of their Ray Harryhausen’s 100th Anniversary Collection. In the film, Perseus leads a group of warriors to the island on the edge of the Underworld to slay the gorgan Medusa. Perseus plans to use her deadly stare to defeat the Kraken, and save his beloved Andromeda from being sacrificed to the titan to appease the gods of Olympus.
Previously, Star Ace has announced statues of The Kraken, Bubo the Owl, and Pegasus from the film. The new Medusa statue stands nearly 12″ tall. It features Medusa holding a bow and arrow. There will be a Normal Version, and a Deluxe Version. With the Deluxe Version, you get a diorama display base featuring a flaming column, and a warrior turned to stone.
