The film that was so bad that it bombed twice at the box office is now getting a high-end action figure from Hot Toys. They have posted photos and details for an upcoming Morbius 1/6 Scale Figure, based on his appearance in the Sony Marvel movie. After a disastrous box office run, the film was set for a quiet release on digital. Social media users had begun poking fun at the film with the “It’s Morbin’ Time” meme, causing it to trend for multiple days. Sony, trying to get in on the joke, used the “opportunity” to re-release the movie into 1,000 theaters. That resulted in an embarrassing weekend, where the film averaged about 10 people per theater for the weekend.
